SAM Training is a rich, engaging multimedia experience that allows students to learn in the way that works best for them by reading, watching, or receiving guided help. Because it is tied to textbook exams and study guides, instructors can spend more time teaching and let SAM Training help those who need additional time to grasp concepts. Using narrated training modes, students control the pace of their learning and can move from task to task as they see fit. Visual indicators let students know which tasks they've completed, allowing for hands-on training tailored specifically for them.
- Observe mode allows the student to watch and listen to a task as it is being completed
- Practice mode allows the student to follow guided arrows and hear audio prompts to help visual learners know how to complete a task
- Apply mode allows the student to prove what they've learned by completing a task using helpful instructions
- Students can print Training reports to view their progress

SAM Projects is an online, live-in-the application productivity tool that assesses a students' ability to use Microsoft Office effectively. These Projects evaluate proficiency at completing Word, Excel, or PowerPoint projects to effectively communicate, solve a problem, or make a decision. Students receive detailed feedback on their project within minutes. Instructors save time by not hand-grading projects and SAM also ensures consistency of grading.
